Annemarie McIntyre

Annamarie McIntyre, 88, of Smithsburg, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at her home surrounded by loving family.

Born on September 18, 1935 in Silesia, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Anna Schaller.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Donald E. McIntyre; and son, Donald E. McIntyre, Jr.

Ann was employed by Hadley Farms as a supervisor until her retirement after over 20 years of service.

She was a longtime member of Willow Brook SDA Church, Boonsboro and spent much of her time volunteering for various activities at the church. Ann enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and was well known for her gift of hospitality.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Stancliff and husband, Paul, of Smithsburg; granddaughter, Casey Wilkie and husband, Grant, of Mount Joy, PA; grandson, Taylor Stancliff of Jacksonville, FL, as well as many other family members and friends.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
