Arben A. "Toppy" "Sonny" Harbaugh

Arben A. “Toppy” “Sonny” Harbaugh, 90, of Cascade, MD, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Williamsport Nursing Home, Williamsport, MD. Born Sunday, September 16, 1928 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Guernon Harbaugh and Gertrude (Hess) Harbaugh. He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel I. (Fahrney) Harbaugh on May 15, 2011. He was owner and operator of Harbaugh’s Masonry. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Navy. He was a member of Cascade American Legion post 239 where he served as post commander (1976) and was manager of the club for 22 years. He was an avid Baltimore Orioles Fan and a horse lover. He is survived by three daughters, Sandy Mills and husband Jim, Sharon Rahochik and husband Jim and Shawn Graff and husband Archie, grandchildren, Guy and Graham Helwig, Jason Rahochik, Ellie Myers, Cory Sanders, Emily Cobb and Blaze and Zane Graff, four great-grandchildren, two sisters, Dian Thomas and Elaine Harbaugh and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Steven Harbaugh, one daughter, Shelly Helwig and one brother, Ray Harbaugh. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11:00am at Bethel Cemetery, Cascade, MD. Arrangements were made by J.L.
