BETTY JANE DIAMOND

Betty Jane Diamond, 92, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024, in Hagerstown, MD.

Born November 5, 1931, in Washington DC, she was the daughter of the late Mervin Nichols and Edith Nichols.

Betty was married to the late Jacob Bushnell and later remarried to the late James Diamond.

She was blessed with 4 children, Ronald, David, Debbie, and Valerie, 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and recently welcomed a great-great-grandchild.

Betty cherished spending time with her family, embracing nature, reading, swimming, dancing, caring for pets (especially cats), coloring, and hunting for treasures at yard sales.

Throughout her 92 years, Betty lived in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, and Missouri. Her career spanned multiple occupations, including private-duty nursing, secretarial work, and real estate.

The celebration of Betty's life will be held at a later date, and the details will be announced as soon as possible.
