Obituary

Barbara Ann Leatherman-Morrison, 89, of Wolfsville, MD, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at her home. Born May 11, 1933, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. Six and Beatrice L. (Roberts) Six. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gaither Leatherman and her second husband, Harold Morrison. She attended Frederick Schools. She was a farmer’s wife and a homemaker. She was a member of Grossnickle Church of the Brethren of Myersville, MD. Barbara is survived by son, Steven Leatherman and wife Joann, daughter, Marian Leatherman, son, Wayne Leatherman and wife Susan, son Bradley Leatherman and wife Faith, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sister-in-law’s, Jean and Dolores, and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 2:00pm at Grossnickle Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Myersville, MD, with Pastor Karen Grossnickle officiating. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Barbara Leatherman-Morrison to: Hospice of Frederick County or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements were made by J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, and online condolences may be offered at www.jldavisfh.com.
