Beatrice Virginia (Hamilton) "Bea" Andrews

Beatrice V. “Bea” Andrews, 86, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, at her home. Born July 27, 1936, in Chestnut Grove, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Delmas Hamilton and Ida Elizabeth (McGowan) Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Andrews who passed away March 28, 2005. They were married August 10, 1957. She retired from Corning Glass Works of Greencastle, PA, in 1994, after 34 years of service. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Smithsburg, Lifetime member of AMVETS post 10 of Hagerstown and a member of the American Flint Glass Workers AFL-CIO. Bea is survived by brothers, Richard Hamilton, George Hamilton and Wayne Hamilton, sisters, Deloris Marshall and Barbara Hamilton and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. There will be no viewing. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 1701 Underpass Way, Suite 300, Hagerstown, MD, 21740. Arrangements were made by J.L.
