Belinda Ann Fulk, 73, of Fairplay, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2025.
She was born on December 10, 1951, in Hagerstown to Paul “Phil” and the late Marjorie Elgin. She was a member of the South Hagerstown High School Class of 1969.
On April 20, 1973, Belinda married the love of her life, Dennis “Denny” Fulk. Belinda devoted herself to raising her children and grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. She was a wonderful cook, always sending guests home with plenty to share, and her pumpkin pies were a family favorite.
After graduating from high school, Belinda worked at Saint James School and Roche and Hull, Inc. She was later an entrepreneur, running her own business for several years, designing and creating basket tie-ons for Longaberger Baskets. Belinda had a gift for thinking outside the box and poured her creativity into everything she did—whether in her work, or in the ways she gave back to her community.
She grew up attending Manor Church of the Brethren and was most recently a member of Saint James Brethren Church. She faithfully served her church through Vacation Bible School and took pride in beautifying the sanctuary with flowers. A dedicated volunteer in the community, she gave countless hours to Fountain Rock Elementary as a classroom helper and PTA officer. She later served at Springfield Middle School, ensuring every band student had a proper uniform and chairing fundraising efforts. As her children moved on to high school, Belinda never missed a soccer or volleyball game, faithfully cheering them on from the sidelines.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Denny; her father, Phil Elgin; son, Paul Fulk; daughter, Ann Reynolds and husband Blair; and her beloved granddaughters Ella, Madelyn, Alanna, and Olivia Fulk, and Elizabeth and Victoria Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Elgin.
For more than 45 years, Belinda bravely battled lupus with strength and determination. She fought the good fight and never gave up. Her generosity, resilience, and love for her family will be cherished and remembered always. She taught us true love before teaching us true loss.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, where family and friends may gather to honor and remember Belinda.
