Benjamin Adam Mock Jr.

Benjamin Adam Mock Jr., 66, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, at Creekside Nursing Home in Hagerstown.

Born on March 22, 1957, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Doris Marie Mock (Tobery) and Benjamin Adam Mock, Sr.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Terri Lynn Mock (Holding); Brother, Clifford Ugene Mock; and his son, Dakota Clinton Mock.

Ben (JR) worked in masonry for many years followed by hosting parties at the Holiday Inn in Frederick, MD.

He enjoyed motorcycles and hot rods. He had a love for animals, and especially had a love for music. He always owned a guitar and could play and sing very well.

He enjoyed watching westerns, his favorite was Gunsmoke.

He is survived by his former wives, Diane Lieske of Colorado, and Vicky Vaughn of Frederick, sons; Benjamin Adam Mock lll (Thereasa) and Jesse Dalton Mock; grandchildren, Adam, Sarah,  Tyler,  and Ezikiel Mock, brother; John Mock (Donna) of Hedgesville, WV; sisters, Sue Ann Gibbons (Michael) of Frederick, Patricia Ann Anderson (David) of Hagerstown, and Grace Marie Summers (David) of Smithsburg; and many nieces and nephews, whom all loved him dearly!

A memorial service will be held Sunday November 12, 2023, at 3pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave Smithsburg, MD 21783.
