Beverly Elaine Sowers

Beverly Elaine Sowers, 77, of Smithsburg, MD, died Saturday, April 29, 2023, at her home.

Born July 21, 1945, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Daniel Myers, and Essie Norford (Daughtery) Myers.

She is survived by her loving husband, Steven E. Sowers, of 28 years.

Ms. Sowers was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

Beverly was a member of the Cavetown Church of Christ, Cavetown, MD.

Beverly enjoyed flowers, crafts, antiques, and loved animals and her pets.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Stephen Weatherholtz (Trina) of Hagerstown, MD, daughters, Michele Migneault of Hagerstown, MD, and Crystal Weatherholtz of Falling Waters, WV, son, Greg Sowers (Jolene) of Hagerstown, MD, five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, sister, Jacalyn Walsh, of Big Pool, MD, and her two loving companions, Dog, Sophia, and cat, Patches.

Beverly is preceded in death by her son, Douglas W. Weatherholtz, grandson, Logan G. Sowers, and brother, Oscar D. Myers, Jr.

There will be a Funeral Service held on Monday, May 8, 2023, at 10:00 am, at Cavetown Church of Christ, Cavetown, MD, officiated by Pastor Chuck Maclee.

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 4:00 - 6:00pm, at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury, Ave, Smithsburg, MD, 21783.
