Bruce Malcolm Draper, 75, of Wolfsville, MD, passed away peacefully at Meritus Medical Center on Friday, December 19, 2025. His family was by his side.
Born on January 19, 1950 in Wolfsville, MD. He was the son of the late Norman Dale Draper and Virginia Kuhn Draper.
Bruce was a simple man, who lived a quiet life.
He enjoyed gardening at home on the family farm, hunting mushrooms in his mountains and family dinners as long as they included a chocolate dessert.
Bruce was retired from Bower's Lumber Yard of Woodsboro, MD. Prior to this, he worked for Hoke Furniture Co. in Thurmont, MD.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving state side during the Vietnam War.
He was a graduate of Middletown High School, class of 1969.
Bruce is survived by two Brothers, Alan and wife, Virginia of Virginia, and Mark and wife, Frances of Myersville, MD; five Nieces, Ann Bowers, Amy Baker, Carrie Whipp, Sadie Wires, Mary Draper, and many Great Nieces and Nephews.
The family would like to thank the members of Wolfsville Community for the support and care given to Bruce over the years.
Bruce preferred not to have a public service and the family has chosen to honor and respect his wishes.
In lieu of flowers, please donate on Bruce's behalf to the Frederick Humane Society or the Alzheimers' Association.
