Charles Robert "Charlie" Snyder

Charles Robert “Charlie” Snyder, 79, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, at his home. Born May 9, 1942, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late David Snyder and Luella Mary (Philpot) Snyder. He was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School class of 1961. He retired from the Washington County Board of Education Maintenance Department. Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Gertrude Snyder, son, Duane D. Snyder, granddaughters, Rachel Hudgins, Heather Taddei, Casandra Taddei and Justina Costanza, stepson, Francis T. McBride, stepdaughter, Patricia A. Dietrich, and sister, Connie Tyrell. He was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Snyder. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by J.L.
