Cheryl Ann Seacrist

Cheryl A. Seacrist, 80, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024.

Born in Hagerstown (1944), she was the daughter of the late Harvey Franklin Gabriel and Pauline Barlup Gabriel.

She is survived by the love of her life and dedicated husband of 32 years Allen; son, James C. Hays; daughter, Cari Hays (Barbara); brother Jeffrey Gabriel (Linda) and family.

A graduate of South Hagerstown High School, Class of 1962.

She was indeed a lifelong learner taking various courses in writing and art at both Frederick Community College and Hagerstown Community College.

Her creative and curious nature kept her, family and friends very busy. She enjoyed painting, gardening, travel, and camping.

One of her sayings was “I wanna go!”

She was employed as a secretary/ receptionist at Marriot Corporate Headquarters in Rockville. MD; Eastalcoa Corporation in Frederick. MD; Honeywell Corporation and Phoenix Color in Hagerstown, MD.

At her request there will be no services. However, the family encourages you to take a moment and appreciate the outdoors. As one of her favorite slogans was, “Bee Kind”
