Christine Elizabeth (Titus) Anthony

Christine Elizabeth Anthony, 79, of Hagerstown MD, entered the arms of Jesus in her home, to join her late husband Daniel J. Anthony, on July 21, 2022. Christine was born March 8, 1943, in Washington, DC. Christine was a former educator for 25 years at the Visitation Academy in Frederick, Md. Mrs. Anthony taught English as a second language to students from all over the world. Christine was an avid Civil War buff and enjoyed volunteering her time to help with tours at the Boonsboro Museum of History. Several donations were made by Christine from her personal collection and can be found there. Christine was also a member of St Joseph's Catholic Church where she volunteered her time assisting with charitable events. Christine could always be found working on her ponds, her grape arbor, or simply sitting on her porch enjoying a glass of wine. She is survived by her children, John Anthony, Cindy Anthony, Tamara Hutzel and her husband Randall Hutzel, her granddaughter Victoria Hutzel and fiance Daryl Peterson, and three great granddaughters, Evalynn, Rozalynn, and Maddilynn Peterson. Memorial Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, Christine would love any donations made to be gifted to the Washington County SPCA. Arrangements were made by J.L.
