Christopher Hunter Abbott

Christopher Hunter Abbott, 75, of Hagerstown, Md., died Nov. 1, 2025.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Freese; three sons; and five grandchildren.

Mr. Abbott was a clinical therapist who retired from Washington County Hospital, where he dedicated his career to changing lives through compassionate care. A devout Christian, he cherished his faith and enjoyed sharing the teachings of Jesus with family, friends, and his community.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at the Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11507 Robinwood Drive, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
