Connie Lou (Shoop) Tracy

Connie Lou Tracy, 85, of Leitersburg, MD, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2018 at Quincy Village of Quincy, PA. Born Saturday, December 23, 1933 in Leitersburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Roosevelt Shoop and Luella May (Smith) Shoop. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Carroll R. Tracy, February 4, 2018. They were married June 15, 1957. She was a graduate of Hagerstown High School. Connie was an animal lover. She was a member of St. Pail’s Free Lutheran Church of Leitersburg, MD. She was employed through the years by the Waynesboro Knitting Factory and Ames Department Store of Waynesboro, PA. Connie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by numerous sister and brother-in-law’s and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edgar Shoop. Services will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2:00pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Terry Culler and Chaplain Dan Summers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Williamsport, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Connie Tracy to SpiriTrust Lutheran Homecare and Hospice at 2700 Luther Dr. Chambersburg, PA, 17202.
