Constance Rhae (Zigler) "Connie" Kunkle

Constance Rhae “Connie” Kunkle, 80, of Maugansville, MD, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 at her home. Born July 19, 1939 in Greencastle, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Jacob Zigler and Dorothea Virginia (Mowen) Zigler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Layman Kunkle who passed away June 7, 2002. She was a member of Haven Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, MD. She was employed as a lunch aid at Northern Middle School in Hagerstown. She was an avid reader, enjoyed word find puzzles and loved to color with the grandchildren. Connie is survived by three sons, Curtis Lynn Kunkle and wife Linda, Steven Neil Kunkle, and Michael Scott Kunkle and wife Pam, six grandchildren, Troy and wife Monica, Dustin, Gunner, Wesley, Jeremy, and Jennifer, four great grandchildren, Jordyn, Kaelyn, Kristen, and Shaylee, great-great grandson, Hunter, nieces, nephews and special friend, Mary Babbington. She was preceded in death by one sister, Shelby Jean Zigler and one brother, John Dennis Zigler. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 11:00am at Haven Lutheran Church, 1035 Haven Rd. Hagerstown, MD, 21742, with Pastor Linda Alessandri officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
