DONALD LEE PRYOR

Donald Lee Pryor, 79, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.

Born March 18, 1946, in Smithsburg, MD, he was the son of the late Carroll S. Pryor and Lillian I. (Miller) Pryor.

Donnie attended Smithsburg High School. He was the owner and operator of Donnie's Plumbing for over 45 years.

He was a long-time member of both the NRA and Cascade American Legion Post 239.

Donnie was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ellen Pryor, Sons, Doc and wife Gwen, Troy and wife Geri, and Doug, 8 grandkids, 7 great-grandkids, 1 brother, and 4 sisters.

In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his sister, Vicki Sue Pryor, granddaughter, Alyssa Pryor, brother, Jim Pryor, and Daughter, Sue Ellen Foltz.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 10:00 am at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg MD, 21783, officiated by Pastor Jonathan Laye. Burial to follow at Ringgold Cemetery.

Visitation will be held the evening prior, Wednesdays, April 9, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
