DORIS MARIE (JONES) LONG

Doris Marie (Jones) Long, 86, of Funkstown, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.

Doris was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.

Born on April 27, 1937, in Boonsboro, MD, she was the daughter of the late Reva Pearl (Witlock) and Lewis Edward Jones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Long, Jr.; grandson, Luke Kauffman; brothers, Gerald Jones, Leon Jones, Lewis Jones, Jr., Franklin Jones, Robert Blair Jones and Samuel Jones; and Sister, Sherrie Ann Jones.

Doris graduated from Boonsboro High School, Class of 1955.

She is survived by her daughters, Lindsay Tosten and husband, James; and their children, Kerrin Spigler, Trace Pryor, James Tosten, Jr., and Bradley Tosten; and Kimberly Kauffman and husband, Mike; and their children, Mike and Matthew Kauffman, and Amie Duley; great grandchildren, Kinsley Marie Spigler, Kolson Spigler, Karson Spigler, and Kalayna Pryor; brothers, Harold Jones (Carol), Bobby Jones (Carol), David Jones (Charlene), Gary Jones (Tina), numerous nieces and nephews; and special companion and friend, Gene Pryor.

There will be no services at this time.
