DORIS BELLE KERSHNER

Doris Belle Kershner, 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Doey's house, Hagerstown, MD.

Born September 25, 1938, in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Deal, and Isabelle Sprenkle.

Doris graduated from Smithsburg High School, Class of 1956.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Army Med. field, in Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Doris retired from Bertelsman Printing in 2000, after working for them for over 40 years.

She is survived by her sons, Mike and Mark Kershner, grandchildren, Amanda, Aubrey, Sarah, Taryn, and Jason, brothers, Gerald, Timothy, and Dennis Deal, sister, Barbara Gardenhour, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her Husband, of 58 years, Milford Lee Kershner, whom she married on January 23, 1960, her brother, David Deal, and sister Sandra Wilson.

A viewing will be held at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, Maryland, 21783, on January 28, 2023, from 3:00-5:00pm.

Services and burial will be private. No donations at this time.
