DOROTHY MARIE KLINE

Dorothy Marie Kline, 81, of Wolfsville, MD, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at Hospice of Washington County Doey’s House.

Born June 22, 1942, in Wolfsville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ragan Paul Kline and Lola Irene Kline.

She was a graduate of Middletown High School class of 1960.

She was a member of the Pentecostal Full Gospel Church of Sabillasville, MD.

Dorothy retired from the Federal Government Atomic Energy Commission.

She enjoyed needle point, sewing, gardening, and picking up the community children on Sunday’s, giving them rides to Sunday School and church.

Dorothy is survived by sisters, Shirley Gonzalez, Lois Shoemaker (Sam) and Judy McDonald, brothers, Gale Kline (Mary Lee), Dale Kline (Audrey) and Leon Kline (Janet), and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Frushour and two brothers, Harold “Sonny” Kline, and Ronald “Sneezy” Kline.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 11:00am at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Joseph Goetz officiating. Burial will be in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Wolfsville, MD.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
