Daniel Allen Shank Sr., 71, of Boonsboro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at his home surrounded by family and loved ones.
Born Saturday, February 10, 1951, in Boonsboro he is the son of the late Orville G. Shank, and Catherine I. (Nalley).
He enjoyed spending time with his dog Pip and sitting on his porch in his rocking chair listening to his country music.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Miller) Shank of 55 years, son, Daniel Allen Shank, Jr., 2 stepsons Terry and Wayne Rudisill, stepdaughter, Doris Rudisill, and his beloved grandson, Daniel Wayne Shank, Sr., who he raised as his own, and his great-grandson, Daniel Wayne Shank, Jr., 7 grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren, sisters, Faye, Margie, and Mary, brothers, Edward, Dale, Herb, and James, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, William, Vincent, Dennis, and Orville Shank.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
