Darrell Ray Barlup

Darrell Ray Barlup, 68, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 22, 2023 at his home, surrounded by loving family.

Born on February 22, 1955 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Mary Louise (Funk) and Darrell B. Barlup.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one Brother; Dale Lynn Barlup.

He attended Waynesboro High School.

Darrell was employed by Phoenix Color as a Pressman for 7 years.

Darrell enjoyed gambling and playing Texas Hold 'Em, he enjoyed going on car rides up in the mountains, and playing with his nieces, nephews, and Grand-Nieces and Nephews. Darrell helped people whenever he could, extending helping hands to anyone that needed it.

He is survived by his Sister, Brenda Knesiel of Waynesboro; Sister Tina Wile and husband William of Chambersburg; Brother Kenneth Barlup of Waynesboro; Brother Timothy Barlup of Waynesboro; and Sister Debbie Hollingshead and husband Chad of Greencastle; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Grand-Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews; and Aunts, Yvonne Baker, Myrna Shatzer, Phyllis Snyder and Kay Ridgeley.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family, with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Franklin County, 209 Grant St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
