Darrell Lyndon Black, 65, of Boonsboro, MD passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on May 29, 1959, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late George F. Stotler, and Norma June (Rohrer) Malkiewicz.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Stepfather Ronald A. Malkiewicz, and Brothers, Steve Stotler, Greg Stotler and Jeff Stotler.
Darrell worked as a Machine Operator for 30 years, having been employed by Bragunier Masonry, United Masonry, and most recently for the last 10 years, for Sweeney Masonry.
Darrell was an avid Classic Rock N Roll fan. He loved spending quality time with his family and friends, more especially with his Grandchildren. Darrell was always ready for a fun time.
He is survived by his Son, Derrick L. Black and wife, Amanda of Boonsboro, MD; Grandchildren, Devon, Ashlynn, Ariane and Ainsley; Brothers, Todd Stotler and his Three children Fallon, Heather, Maddie and daughter Wren, Mark Stotler and his two children Mark, Amanda, and Denny Black (Annie); Sister, Shelby Malkiewicz and her two children Amanda and Dallas; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 6-8 PM at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave., Smithsburg, MD 21783.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Washington County 1710 Underpass Way, Suite 300 Hagerstown, MD 21740.
