It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darrell James Vann, aged 53, who passed away peacefully on December 14th, 2024, in Keedysville, MD.

Darrell was a devoted family man, who loved his spouse and 2 children above all else. He was a beloved husband to Mary Ann Aleshire, and a devoted father to Hunter James Vann and Bailey Rose Vann.
In his free time, Darrell enjoyed playing his guitar, which brought him joy and relaxation. He loved watching videos and movies with his sister Tracy Cost and spending time with his niece Bridget’s daughter Ivy Jane. Darrell is survived by his wife Mary Aleshire, his son Hunter Vann and his daughter Bailey Vann. He also is survived by his sisters Melissa Bonaparte (Phil), Tracy Cost, Phyllis Stride (Kevin) and his brothers Tim Lamb (Carrie) and Jamie Vann (MaryAnn), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He will be truly missed by his nieces Bridget Dillard and Tyler Aleshire and his nephew Devin Cost.
He will be missed by his lifelong friend. Who went to school with him and live next-door to him. They both enjoyed working on cars and spending their weekends at Mason Dixon Dragway. Chuck Ball says, “ ..believe it or not your dad was a funny guy always laughing and joking.. I’m going to miss him.”
