David Dwayne Speaker, Sr.

David Dwayne Speaker, Sr. was born on March 15th, 1959 of Hagerstown, MD. passed away on Saturday April 19th, 2025.

He was a 1977 graduate of Williamsport High School in Williamsport, MD. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1978 to 1982.

He was employed by W.D. Byron & Sons Tannery in Williamsport, MD. for 28 years, employed by Pavestone in Hagerstown MD. for 10 years until retirement then worked part-time at Rose Mary's Florist in Williamsport, MD. until 2024.

He was a member of the Red Men and The American Legion both of Williamsport, MD.

David was a huge fan of all sports. Loved the beach and driving through the mountains. But most of all he loved his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his late Father Christopher Donald Speaker and his Mother Lavina (Sue Bell) Lowman-Speaker. Also a grandson, Dominic Swartz.

He is survived by his brother Michael Eugene Speaker (wife-Ellie) of Falling Waters, WV. One Daughter, Amy Renee' Speaker Stoner (husband Brian) of Bedford, PA. One Son, David Dwayne Speaker, Jr. (wife- Carissa) of Williamsport, MD. Two Step-daughters, Jessica Wes Miller- Cunningham (Husband-Ben) of Maugansville, MD. and Stephanie Wes Miller- DeRito (husband Daniel) of Kearneysville, WV. Six granddaughters, Four grandsons and my first Ex-wife and Best Friend Carrie Gregory.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
