Dawn Ranee (Blickenstaff) Needy

Dawn Ranee Needy, 50, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center. Born August 4, 1970 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Donald Lee Blickenstaff, Sr. and Naomi Mae (Haul) Blickenstaff. Dawn was a graduate of Smithsburg High School, class of 1988. She was employed by Home Federal Bank of Hagerstown, State Farm Insurance of Frederick and most recently by Pepsi Distribution Center of Williamsport. Dawn is survived by daughter, Jessica N. Needy and fiancé Jonathan, son, Aaron T. Needy and wife Kaitlyn, brothers, Curtis Blickenstaff and wife Dana and Donald Blickenstaff, Jr. and companion Kristyn, step-mother, Alice Blickenstaff, Step-sisters, Vanessa Moats and husband Mark and Tamera Eichelberger and husband Jack, step-brother, Deryle Bingaman and wife Rebecca, longtime friend, Todd Swope, “The light of her world” her precious grandchildren, Camden, Kaiden, Kaylee, Caysen, Austin and Melody, her Baker Farm family, feline companion, Fuzzy and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 1:00pm at Cornerstone Community Church, Hagerstown, MD, with Pastor Dean Pryor officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Williamsport, MD. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-9pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD.
