Debbie Louise Bowman, 65, of Cascade, MD, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Doey's House, Hagerstown, MD, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Raised in Sabillasville around all of her extended family, Debbie graduated from Catoctin High School, class of 1977.
Debbie worked her family's businesses since around the age of 8 with various customer service/labor jobs, then went on to work at Don's Towing in the Speed Shop in Thurmont gaining knowledge about something she loved, cars.. After a few years there, she went on to sell computers for DP out of Frederick where she had some of the top sales in the entire company. After that success, she decided to face the challenge of business ownership, opening E-Z Rents in Frederick,Md and operating the business for almost 10 years. After selling the business, she started a career in Kitchen Designing for Reiko Kitchens in the Frederick Area, one of her favorite projects was designing the kitchen for the Nora Roberts B & B in Boonsboro. After the B & B caught fire, Debbie found and shipped the necessary materials for rebuilding the kitchen under very short notice for the B & B to open. Lastly, Debbie enjoyed a long career, selling flooring for Vintage Lumber, Peterson Carpet & Fitzgerald Home Furnishings, until her diagnosis in March 2024. No matter what Debbie was selling or designing during her career she provided quality customer care for all who crossed her path and had multiple return clients over the years to prove it.
Debbie attended church services at FCF Church in Frederick. Her favorite past times included hanging out with a group of close friends named "The Pod", playing music on her bass with her band "Laughing at the Demons", writing poetry/songs and spending time with her 4 grand babies.
