Donald Richard Poole, Jr.

Donald Richard Poole, Jr., 55, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 20, 2025 at WellSpan York Hospital, York, PA, surrounded by loving family.

Born on July 14, 1970 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Regina Pearl (Martz) Creager and Donald Richard Poole, Sr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Step Father, Randolph Creager; Step Mother, Theresa Poole; Brother in Laws, Justin Shane Kendall and Gary Lininger; and Father in Law, Dennis Lee Kendall.

Donnie graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School, class of 1989.

Donnie was employed at Letterkenny Army Depot where he worked for over 20 years.

Donnie was an avid hunter, enjoyed cooking and grilling, camping and traveling, but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Heather R. (Kendall) Poole; Children, DeAnna Wilford and husband, Bryce, of St. Thomas, PA; Destiny Poole and fiance, Justin Bumbaugh; Matthew Poole; and Clairese Poole and fiance, Lokii Butts, all of Waynesboro, PA; 3 Grandchildren; (Nico and Oakley Bumbaugh and August Wilford), Siblings, Karen Lininger, Tammy Gonder (Billy), Dawn Butler and Christine Poole; Mother in Law, Delores Kendall; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service will be held Satuday, December 6, 2025 at 11 AM at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave. Smithsburg, MD 21783 with Captain Bai Fornah officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior.
