Obituary
Edward J. (Lefty) Ridenour, 80, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
Born September 18, 1942, he was the son of the late Theodore and Rose (Kreitz) Ridenour.
Ed is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kay (Stitely) Ridenour, children, Lori Vaughn, Brenda Zacher (Mark), David Krietz (Kathy), Kenneth Ridenour, grandchildren, BJ Schildt (Maureen), Chip Vaughn (Ashley), Carrie Laird (Nathan), Samantha Smith (Sean), Kyle Vaughn (Nicole), Shawnell Zacher, Zack Kreitz (Sarah), Kaylee Kreitz, Ashley Zimmerman (Derek), Austin Ridenhour, Ben Zacher, Owen Ridenour, Cheryl Ridenhour, great-grandchildren, Kaleb Vaughn, Nola Schildt, Evan Laird, Amelia Vaughn, Harvey Schildt, Harper Laird, Lucas Zimmerman, Weston Ridenour, Ruthie Schildt, William Vaughn, Cora Smith, siblings, Gary, Ted, Donald, Phyllis, Sheila, Cecil, brother and sister in law, Sam and Kim Tessler.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by daughter-in -law, Rebecka Ridenour, son-in-law, Dave Vaughn, and great-grandson, Fintan Smith.
Ed will be greatly missed by many family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Anthony Shine, Emmitsburg, Maryland, family will receive friends one hour prior.
