FAYE DEVON FOGLE

Faye Devon Fogle, 69, Myersville, died October 17, 2024, at Klines House in Mount Airy. She was the wife of Michael E Fogle, they were married for 48 years.

Born in Frederick, MD on July 4, 1955, she was a daughter of the late James R. Hartsock Sr. and Ellen L Hartsock. She was a graduate of Middletown High. Faye had been a billing specialist over the years with Lincoln National, Great West Life and recently retired from the Way Station, Inc after 19 years of service. She was a devoted member of Victory Christian Center, Frederick where she served on the board, treasurer and children’s ministry for many years. Faye cherished her family whether this was being a Girl Scout Leader, playing games with her mom or volunteering at the elementary school for Michelle, Mandy and Dylan. She enjoyed going to dinner with her family and friends, especially her best friend, Sherry Brehm, crocheting hats and scarves for clothing giveaways and her cats.

She is survived by including her husband, Michael, 2 daughters, Michelle Fogle-Myersville, Mandy Black and husband Jason-Hagerstown,1 grandson, Dylan Martinez-Myersville and 1 brother, James R. Hartsock Jr and wife Sougol- Frederick. She is also survived by an aunt, several brother/sister in laws and many nieces, nephews and cousins she adored.

The family would like to thank the staff at Klines House for their wonderful care during her last days.

Services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 11am at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD with Pastor Ashley Garland officiating. Interment will be made in the Harmony Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Myersville. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the funeral home.
