Francis Millspaugh Yellott, II

Francis M. “Frank” Yellott, II, 64 of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, at his home. Born December 28, 1957, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Francis M. Yellott, Sr. and Norma Jean (Turner) Yellott. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Debra Ann Yellott who passed away March 20, 2018. They were married April 15, 1978. He was a graduate of Smithsburg High School class of 1975. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Frank was a member of the Waynesboro Fish and Game Club and also the NRA. He was employed by CXS Railroad for 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved riding his motorcycle. Frank is survived by daughters, Amanda Bayer and husband Tanner and Katie McDonald and husband Danial, son, Frank Yellott, III, and wife Megan, grandchildren, Carter, Quinn, Miles and Brendon, brother, Dan Yellott and wife Amy, sisters, Connie Shenk and Jean Harries and husband Steve and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ben Yellott. A celebration of life gathering will be held Friday, June 3, 2022, from 6-8pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD.
