Frank Benjamin Huntzberry

Frank B. Huntzberry, 82, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, April 25,2026 at his home surrounded by his loving sons.

Born May 30,1943 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Albert T. Huntzberry and Sophia C. (Carbaugh) Huntzberry.

He was a dedicated employee for Washington County for over 32 years.

Frank is survived by his son, Troy E. Showe and wife Lavenia and their four children Kayana A. Showe and her daughter Anita, Justin T. Showe, Joshua C. Holton and Kierstan Curry. His son Albert T. Huntzberry and soulmate Tiffany Foreman. His daughter Tiffany Shaff and her three children, two sisters Jeanie Snyder and Ruth Ann Hardman, Two brother in-laws Ted Schlotterbeck and Jeff Schlotterbeck and their wives Anna Schlotterbeck and Karen Schlotterbeck. Also by several nieces,nephews and extended family. In addition to his wonderful wife Darlene K (Schlotterbeck) Huntzberry.

He was also preceded in death by his father Albert T. Huntzberry, his mother Sophia C. Huntzberry, his sisters Laura Lawrence, Mary Metz, Marion Anaheim and Harriett Huntzberry.

A celebration of Frank’s life will be held Saturday May 30,2026 from 3-5pm at his Son’s Homes in Hagerstown, MD.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Frank and Darlene Huntzberry to the American Cancer Society. “To all my family and friends,” I may have never told you that I loved you but I showed it in my own special way”.
