Franklin Anders Trail, Jr.

Franklin Anders Trail, Jr., 67, of Inwood, WV, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on March 23, 1959 in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Rachel Jean (Flook) Trail and Franklin Anders Trail, Sr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brother, Troy A. Trail.

Frankie graduated from Walkersville High School, class of 1977.

Frankie enjoyed driving demolition derby cars at the Frederick Fair, going to casinos, camping and spending time with family.

He is survived by his Sister, Carolyn Etzler-Doyle and husband, John, of Hagerstown, MD; Nieces, Dawn Etzler and Mirah Trail; Nephews, Chris Etzler and family and Donnie Etzler and family; numerous Great and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews; and a special Cousin, Joey Delauter.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 2 PM at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 13010 Mt. Zion Rd. Sabillasville, MD 21780.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either Washington County Humane Society, 13011 Maugansville Rd. Hagerstown, MD 21740 or Frederick County Humane Society, 1786 N. Market St. Frederick, MD 21701.
