GEORGE ALVEY KEEFER, JR

George “Alvey” Keefer, Jr., 76, of Maugansville, MD, passed away on January 7, 2024, at Carroll County Hospital.

Born November 14, 1947, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Pearle V. Keefer Rowe and George A. Keefer, Sr.

Alvey was a Christian. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Beverly Keefer, Fairmont, WV, half-brothers, Michael Keefer (Rae), Jeffrey Keefer (Misty) of Berkeley Springs, WV; half-sister, Dawn Warrington of Romney, WV; special friend and cousin, Paul Mason, and numerous cousins.

In addition to his parents, Alvey is predeceased in death by his brother, Earl M. Keefer, and half-brother, Richard Keefer.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 a. m., Monday, January 15, at Evangel Baptist Church, 17922 Broadfording Road, Hagerstown Md. with Pastor Ron Faith officiating.
