Obituary
George Gregory "Greg" Stotler, Jr., 71, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2023, at his home.
Born August 8, 1950, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late George G. Stotler Sr., and Helen (Jones) Alton.
George was married to his late wife, Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Stotler, for 24 years, who passed away on August 25, 2014.
He was a Graduate of Boonsboro High School, Class of 1968.
George retired from Washington County Roads Department after serving over 20 years.
He was a member of the Williamsport Red Men Lodge 84, and Salem U.M.C. of Keedysville, MD.
George enjoyed hunting, especially Coon Hunting, and fishing.
He was an avid Coon Hunting Dog trainer and Walker Coon Hounds.
George is survived by his daughter, Nichole Brandt, granddaughter, Sarah Rosenberry, grandsons, Seth Brandt, and Kane Brandt, stepdaughter, Lisa Knight, stepson, Randy Knight, brothers, Mark Stotler, Darryl Black, and Todd Stotler, canine companion, Clover, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, George is preceded in death by brother, Jeff Stotler, and Steve Stotler, and stepdaughter, Samantha Knight Crist.
The service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
