GRACE M MOSER

Grace Miriam (Leatherman) Moser, 90, of Myersville, MD, passed away peacefully, Monday, September 2, 2024, at Fahrney-Keedy Nursing Home, Boonsboro, MD, surrounded by her family.

Born on June 30, 1934, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Carrie (Brandenburg) and Elmer Daniel Leatherman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Francis E. Moser; and 8 of her 9 Brothers and Sisters.

Grace graduated from Middletown High School, class of 1952.

Grace was a lifetime member of Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, Myersville, MD. Grace was very active in the church, singing in the choir, supported many of the church groups, and served in many leadership roles. Grace was also a member with her late husband of Southern States and the Wolfsville Ruritan Club.

She is survived by 3 Children, F. Diane Moser; Dennis Moser and wife, Kathy all of Myersville, MD, and Ellen Hoffman and partner, Chris McCormick, of South Riding, VA; 2 Grandchildren: Travis Stables and wife Lauren of Philadelphia, PA and Abbey Moser and husband Daniel of Emmitsburg, MD, 3 Great Grandchildren; and her brother, Elwood Leatherman and his wife Gladys.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 6-8 PM at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave. Smithsburg, MD 21783.

Burial will be private.
