Gary Gerald Cline

Gary Gerald Cline passed away at his home on Friday, August 7, 2020. He was born on July 15, 1945 in Hagerstown, Maryland one of three children to Donald Mark Cline and Ester Elizabeth Cline. He graduated from Smithsburg High School in 1964, residing in Hagerstown throughout his lifetime. Gary is survived by his three children and spouses, Gary W. and Shanna Cline, Susan and Edward (Skip) Reeder, Jr., and Scott and Janel Cline. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, Hailey, Cole and Morgan Cline, Isaiah, Sonjah, Rosah, Noah, Elijah, Joshua, and Juliah Reeder, and Ciera, Eve, and Rachel Cline. He is also survived by a brother, Donald (Gene) Cline. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward (Eddie) Cline. Over the years Gary worked for Washington County Public School System, Kemp Horn Vocational Center, and ARC of Washington County. In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting mushrooms and searching for American Indian artifacts. He looked forward to Bible study, dominoes and playing cards with fellow residents of Francis Murphy Senior Apartments. There will be a graveside memorial service at Cavetown Cemetery located behind Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, 22514 Cavetown Church Road, Cavetown, Maryland 21720 on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 10:00 am.
