Gary Lee McGuire, Sr.

Gary Lee McGuire, Sr. 81, of Cavetown, MD, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center of Hagerstown, MD. Born Wednesday, June 23, 1937 in Washington D.C. he was the son of the late Lawrence and Pauline McGuire. Gary is survived by his wife of 61 years, Thelma Joy (Foster) McGuire whom he married February 19, 1959, son, Daniel McGuire, Sr. and wife Debra, daughters, Lena Dick and husband Larry, Lisa Sweeney and husband Terry and Cary Thomas and husband Eddie, grandchildren, Gary Sweeney, Daniel McGuire, Jr., Victoria Blair and Ryan McGuire and great-grandchildren, Jayden Blair and Audrina Blair. He was preceded in death by one son, Gary Lee McGuire, Jr., one brother, Lawrence McGuire and his mother-in-law, Lena Waldow. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
