George Leonard Williams, Jr.

George L. Williams, Jr., 76, of Clear Spring, MD, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at his home. Born June 20, 1943 in Reisterstown, MD, he was the son of the late George Leonard Williams, Sr. and Gloria (Nash) Williams. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Firestone Tires of Hagerstown after serving over 15 years and worked at Carquest after retirement. George is survived by his wife of 28 years, Tina M. (Kendall) Williams whom he married March 14, 1991, children, Laura Bohannon, George Williams (Adrienne), Kym Frisby (Greg), Denise Jacobs (Joe) and Richard Williams, step children, Charlie Clark (Rhonda), Amanda Patterson (Rob) and Kathy Dunsworth, grandchildren, Phillip Michael, Casey, Kelly, Ashley, Stephanie, James, Rocky, Taylor, Tyler, Kayla, Megan and McKayla, brothers, Wes Williams and Billy Williams (Pam), and numerous foster children, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and Dennis and two sisters, Diane and Rosalie. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 at 7:00pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Julie Brigham officiating.
