George E. Wilt Jr. “Bunk”, 83, of Funkstown, MD passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center. Born August 15, 1938, in Smithsburg, MD, he was the son of the late George E. Wilt Sr and Beulah (Bowman) Wilt. Bunk was preceded in death by his sister Loretta Stevens and her husband Bob Stevens, Sister-in-law Dorothy (Beattie) Wilt, brother-in-law Charles Lowman, brother- in-law Terry Michalsky and his beloved dog Puff. Bunk is survived by his brother Glenn “Bud” Wilt, brother Robert Wilt and his wife Nancy, Sister Dorothy Lowman, Sister Carlotta” Pink” Michalsky, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held Saturday March 19, 2022. Family will receive friends between 6:00pm-8:00pm at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 16829 Lappans Road, Williamsport, MD.
