Harry McComas Keller, age 83, of Wolfsville passed away peacefully in his home Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
He was born October 27, 1940, in Washington D.C. to Lawrence E. and Effie M. (Bear) Keller.
He attended Middletown High School before starting work at Morgan-Keller at age 15 as a mason. He later retired from L.W. Wolfe. His main interests were hunting and racing. He loved hearing and telling hunting stories and never missed a NASCAR race. He was member of the Tuscarora Archers of Frederick, Rocky Mountain Elk Federation, Blue Ridge Sportsmans Club, and South Mountain Rod & Gun Club. He was a regular customer of Phil & Jerry’s and Trackside Grill in Smithsburg and just loved running into to people he knew wherever he went.
Harry is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Johnnie and Vicki Keller. His Grandson’s and their wives Jeremiah & Nicki and Zachary & Kelli Keller. His great granddaughters Riot Lynn & Effie Mae and step-grandsons Anthony & Evan. His brother and sister-in-law Robert & Sue Keller and sister-in-law Linda Keller. He was preceded in death by two sisters Betty and Jeanette Keller and brother Elmo Keller.
Family will welcome friends for a casual visitation on Sunday February 11, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00, at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, to share memories. Rev. Dr. D. Neil Suders will give a prayer at 3:00pm.
