Harriet Lou (Snyder) Gordon

Harriet Lou Gordon, age 88, went to be with her husband Blake in heaven on their 65th wedding anniversary. She died peacefully at Meritus Medical Center with her daughter, Sharon at her side in the wee hours of May 25, 2021. Harriet’s husband, Graham Blake Gordon, met her in heaven after being departed since February 24, 1994. She was born in Tremont Pa at home on Cresent Street to the late Joseph and Martha Snyder on March 15, 1933. She is the last surviving member in her immediate family except for nieces and nephews. She is a Veteran of the US Air Force. She belonged to the Funkstown American Legion Post 212. She played golf with the girls for years at Black Rock Golf Course. She helped for several years with Washington County Jr golf. She is survived by her daughters Deidra Woodward and husband Jeff; Sharon Nalley and husband Jeff; Lisa Harmon and husband Roger; and son Mark Gordon and wife Lisa. She was loved by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren and known as Mom Mom Harriet. Harriet’s wish was for a graveside service in Pinnacle NC and service will be done at the convenience of the family.
