Harry Arthur "Butch" Ward, Jr.

Harry A. “Butch” Ward, Jr., 72, of Thurmont, MD, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Frederick Health in Frederick, MD. Born August 7, 1949, in Montgomery County, MD, he was the son of the late Harry Arthur Ward, Sr. and Frances J. (Betson) Ward. He was a graduate of Poolesville High School class of 1968. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1969-1974. He was employed by Safeway for over 35 years. He loved Auctions, Street Rods and socializing with his friends. Butch is survived by his wife of 44 years, Karen Lou (Wisotzkey) Ward, brother, Clayton “Bubby” Ward and wife Winnie of Frederick, MD, sons, James Late and Jason Late and wife Lisa and granddaughters, Samantha, Jessica, Jenna and Morgan.
