IRA MOORE Obituary

Ira H. Moore, 81, of Waynesboro, PA passed away peacefully Monday, November 13, 2023 at his home surrounded by loving family.

Born on June 9, 1942 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Martha W. (Barr) and Charles H. Moore.

Ira graduated from Waynesboro Area High School, class of 1960.

He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Ira worked and retired as a self-employed electrician.

Ira attended Iron Springs Brethren in Christ Church, Iron Springs, PA.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret (Deardorff) Moore; Daughter, Marna Yingling and husband Troy of Waynesboro; and Son, Thomas Moore and wife, Gina of Waynesboro; Granddaughters, Mariah Hill (Tanner), Nicole Moore, Jennifer Garland (Anthony), and Tiffany Moore; Great-Grandchildren, Madeline Hill and Myles Garland.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Iron Springs Brethren in Christ Church, 855 Iron Springs Rd., Fairfield, PA 17320.
