Irma Louise Gray, 81 passed away on Sunday April 5th at her Maugansville home surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 6th, 1944 in Aliquippa, PA she was the daughter of Howard and Clara Irwin. Preceeded in death by her parents and siblings Robert Irwin, Barbara Sauers, and Daniel Irwin. She leaves behind her husband Steven Gray 80, her daughter Denise Graham (Don) of Boonsboro, Son James Graham (Mary Grace) of Marinsburg, WV and daughter Dianna Mullins (Andrew) of Cape Girardeau, MO. She was a loving grandmother to Nicole Masser of Frederick, MD, Andrew Whipp, Boonsboro, Jeremy Winn, Portland, OR, Zachary Whipp (Kayla) ,Maugansville and Samantha Hartsock (Ryan), Hagerstown, Moriah Graham, Andrea Graham and Angelika Graham all from Martinsburg, WV. Irma also adored her great-grandchildren Lincoln Peterson, Silus King, Wyatt and Emma Hartsock, Owen Whipp and Atlas Whipp. She also had numerous nieces and nephews that were loved by her as well.
Irma loved the beach and lived on the eastern shore of Maryland as well as Delaware before moving to the Hagerstown area to be closer to her family. She enjoyed crafting, shopping trips and spending as much time as she could with her husband and family. She was of Catholic faith.
A private memorial service will be planned at a later date and her final resting place will be in Dagsboro, DE.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Noor (Meritus Hematology & Oncology) for her kind and compassionate care during the treatment of her illness, all the Nurses and physicians at Meritus Medical Center who cared for her during her hospitalizations and treatments and to Hospice of Washington County.
