Irvin Eugene Cowder

Irvin Eugene Cowder, 89, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022, at his home. Born September 17, 1932, in Lewistown, PA, he was the son of the late Wilbur Wayne Cowder and Amy Elizabeth (Livingston) Cowder. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jane (Close) Cowder whom he married in 1955. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He is survived by son, Daniel Cowder, daughter, Michelle Longanecker, grandchildren, Chasity Kline, Matthew Longanecker and Jasmine Seals, great-grandchildren, Austin Kline, Gage Kline, Isabella Seals and Henry Seals and sister, Lila Jane Warner.
