JAMES K. KEPHART

James K. Kephart, 82, of Smithsburg, MD., passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD.

Born March 27, 1942, he was the son of the late James S. Kephart and Geraldine V. (Fryer) Kephart.

James is survived by his daughter, Nicole Thompson, grandson, Cody Thompson, and husband Rick Thompson, of Smithsburg. Son Eric Kephart and wife Remini Kephart of Flordia.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by the love of his life Helen Kephart.

James loved trout fishing and was a great fisherman. He enjoyed watching his grandson, Cody, growing up.
James is at peace now after a long illness. He is reunited with his wife.
