Obituary
Janet A. Mongan 71 years old peacefully went with the lord at her home in Hagerstown, Maryland. Born May 19, 1951 in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the daughter of the late Cicero Martin and Dorthy Edwards. Janet was a feisty and loving woman. She loved to be with her family and friends. When they walked in the door she would light up with happiness. Through the years she enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing games, swimming, bike riding, and gardening. She had a love for butterflies and hummingbirds. She spent several years living in Florida where she and her late husband James Mongan III shared wonderful memories. She was also survived by her children: late daughter Tajnah Davis, daughter Angela Kelly and husband Gene Kelly, Son Jason Tanner and late wife Angela Tanner, Daughter Amy Mongan, Son Scott Mongan. Grandchildren: Alicia Weadon and Husband Chris Weadon, Kristen Kelly and partner CJ, James Mongan, Tori Tanner, Trevor Tanner, late Mitchell Spears, Rhyan Spears Jennifer Spears, Lindsay Freeman, And Zach Freeman and great grandchildren Kolbie Weadon, and Julian Arias. 9 siblings and countless friends. A celebration of life will be at a later date held by the family. Any donations in honor of Janet would be appreciated to Hospice of Washington County.
