Jason Blair White57, of Thurmont, MD, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving children, after a short battle with liver disease.
Born November 1, 1967, in Frederick MD, he was the son of John Baker White and Iris Rice (Albaugh).
Jason was raised in Frederick MD, working alongside his uncle, Nick Albaugh, as a dairy farmer. He worked many years as a plumber before taking over his father’s business with his brother John.
Jason’s biggest achievement was maintaining and growing his father’s business alongside his brother John and continuing the legacy of JBW.
Jason was a loving father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Jason had such a big heart. He would do anything for anyone and could always make you laugh. He was very comical and didn’t care what anyone thought of his jokes. It goes without saying that Jason left an impeccable lasting impression on anyone he met throughout his life. Jason lived his life to the fullest and did whatever it was that he wanted to do. He was a member of the Lewistown Social Club, enjoyed riding his side by side, going to the cabin in WV, spending the day on the river, spending time with friends and family, fantasy football and cheering on the Steelers while enjoying a cold Coors Light. Jason was known as Pops, Dad, Granddaddy, J-Dawg and the Redneck icon.
Jason is survived by his mother, Iris Rice (Bob); Children, Jake White (Ashley), Jerad White (Caroline); Grandchildren, Jansen and Ava White; Unborn grandson, Jaxon White; Loving Brother, John White; Niece, Savannah Brantley (Brian); Best Friend, Heath Routzahn; and many other friends and family.
Jason is preceded in death by his father John Baker White and cousin, Josh White.
Family and Friends are invited to come together and Celebrate Jason’s life on January 11th at noon at the Thurmont Event Complex, 13716 Strafford Drive, Thurmont MD 21788.
Arrangements were made with J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, and online condolences can be offered at www.jldavisfh.com.
