JEFFREY MALCOLM PERMISON

Jeffrey Malcolm Permison, 68, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital, Waynesboro, PA, surrounded by loving family.

Born on September 3, 1956, in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Irene Shirley (Nussbaum) and Bernard Permison.

Jeff earned his associate's degree from Howard County Community College then attended Towson State University where he earned his Bachelor's degree.

Jeff worked as a Quality Assurance Officer in Pharmaceuticals.

He was an active member of West End Baptist Chapel, where he not only worshiped but also forged lasting friendships in the Men's Group. He was an avid football and baseball fan, cheering on his Baltimore Ravens and Orioles with his beloved pet cats by his side.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Clarissa I. (Conely-Sprecher) Permison. He was a proud stepfather to Jessica Brown and husband, Bob, of Cascade, MD; a loving grandfather to Andrew Green of Hagerstown, MD and Colin Green of Cascade, MD; and Great Grandson, Phillip. His caring sister, Paula Permison; Nephew, Drew Permison (Laura); and Great Nephew, Reese; and close friend, Skip.

A funeral service will be held Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11 AM at West End Baptist Chapel, 59 Winter St. Hagerstown, MD 21740 with Pastor Shane Wilt officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior at the church.
