Obituary
John Edward Kirby, 76, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at his home.
Born on February 05, 1947, in Bethesda, MD, John was the son of the late Horace Kirby and Katherine Ingram.
He worked at Columbia Planograph of Washington, DC, as a printer until retirement.
John is survived by his companion of 20 years, Shirley Hartle, sisters, Kathy Chambers of Smithsburg, MD, and Diane Bishop of Glen Burnie, MD, brothers, Richard Kirby of Hagerstown, MD, Robert Kirby of Florida, his special nephew Garrett Chambers, great-nephew, Wilson Chambers, and several other nieces and nephews, who loved him.
Johnny will be remembered for the kind, unjudgmental and forgiving person he always was.
Services will be private and at the convince of the family.
